Apple может полностью изменить схему именования новых моделей iPhone»

Компания Apple, возможно, полностью пересмотрит схему именования для своих будущих смартфонов iPhone.

Об этом сообщил французский ресурс iPhoneSoft со ссылкой на документацию производителя чехлов для смартфонов ESR, в которой указаны новые названия смартфонов компании Apple.

Если сведения верны, то преемником модели iPhone XR станет iPhone 11. Новая версия смартфона iPhone XS будет называться iPhone 11 Pro, а преемник iPhone XS Max получит название iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Новая система названий имеет смысл, так как она проще и понятнее, чем у нынешнего модельного ряда iPhone, хотя «iPhone 11 Pro Max» звучит немного неуклюже. Как сообщает ресурс 9to5Mac, один из публикаторов утечек недавно намекнул, что Apple может начать добавлять в названия будущих смартфонов слово «Pro».

Данный шаг представляет собой весьма существенное изменение в том, как Apple позиционирует смартфоны своей серии. На данный момент iPhone XS — это «iPhone», смартфон, который должен находиться в центре внимания большинства пользователей, в то время как iPhone XR позиционируется как его более дешевый вариант, что-то вроде «iPhone Lite».

Дав преемнику iPhone XR имя «iPhone 11», Apple поместит его на центральную позицию новой серии, оставив варианты «Pro» для более требовательных клиентов.
