Новый Instagram для Windows 10 получил поддержку Direct»

После череды слухов и утечек компания Facebook наконец-то выпустила полноценное PWA-приложение Instagram для Windows 10. Программа стала доступна в Microsoft Store в качестве обновления старого приложения, которое уже давно было доступно для пользователей ОС от Microsoft.

Самой важной функцией нового Instagram для Windows 10 можно назвать поддержку личных сообщений Direct. Теперь общаться с подписчиками можно и на компьютере — этого давно не хватало пользователям Instagram, которым для доступа к Direct приходилось даже устанавливать эмулятор Android-приложений (веб-версия только недавно получила эту функцию в рамках тестирования).

Само PWA-приложение (Progressive Web App) больше напоминает слегка оптимизированную веб-версию, обёрнутую в интерфейс нативной программы. Это скорее положительная сторона, так как все нововведения Instagram на стороне сервера будут автоматически появляться в версии для Windows 10 без обновлений. Новый Instagram для Windows 10 под версией 42.0.2.0 уже доступен для скачивания в каталоге Microsoft Store как для x86-компьютеров, так и для ARM-устройств.
